My morning skincare routine

Good skin truly is the secret behind any flawless finish, which is why i’ve been investing a lot in my skincare lately. Find out what products I’ve been applying each morning…

Step 1 – Cleanser

The first and perhaps most important step when cleaning the skin is cleansing. I like to go for a deep cleanse which means I’ll do a precleanse first.

I kick-start my routine with Super Facialist’s Vitamin C Skin Renew Cleansing Oil. Vitamin C is best applied in the morning and is great for brightening the skin and boosting collagen production.

This is followed by Super Facialist’s Rosehip Gentle Foaming Cleanser. I have quite red skin, so I love Rosehip for its calming effects.

Step 2 – Toner

Next up is toner, and I’m a huge fan of PIXI’s Vitamin C Tonic. This complements the products used previously, and plays an important role when firming the skin.

Step 3 – Serum

Serums are super important when absorbing and penetrating deep into the skin, unlike moisturisers which will sit on the surface. I have very dry skin, so I opt for Avene’s Rehydrating Serum. And then for my under eyes, I use Dermalogica’s Biolumin C Serum. This lightweight serum is great for brightening and firming around the eyes.

Step 4 – Eye Cream

Next it’s time for eye cream, and I’ve been obsessed with Kiehls’ Creamy Eye Treatment with avocado. The fatty acids in avocado are great when plumping the under eyes and instantly give your skin a much-needed boost in the morning.

Step 5 – Moisturiser

To moisture the rest of my face I use Super Facialist’s Skin Recovery Day Cream. This sensitive formula is infused with probiotics which help to restore the skin’s elasticity and boost radiance.

Step 6 – Lip Conditioner

Last but by no means least, I’ve been using Technic Cosmetics’ Lip Conditioner with Vitamin E. This is great for keeping my lips hydrated all day, and stops my lipstick flaking!
